Kits: Nail art kits are useful for beginners as they give you everything you need to get started. They will usually contain the top and base coats polish and colours special brushes or dotting tools different patterns stickers and pins for the designs and possibly sometimes stones jewels or glitter depending on the kit. You may even want to get a kit with nail art pens that allow for you to draw directly onto the nail getting a totally unique design of your own.
Fancy manicures with colorful designs has gotten to be a hot topic and very trendy these days. And there are a few basic nail art supplies that even a beginner should have on hand. It used to be you would simply put on a coat of nail polish and head out the door. Even professional manicurists didnt get too heavily into intricate designs. But today nail art really is an art where your nails are tiny little canvases on which you can create designs to express yourself any way you want.
The finishing touches to any womans attire should be her nails. But most of us tend to forget and neglect this area. With nail art on the up and up there is no excuse. You can choose to do them yourself at home or be pampered and go to a salon. Long nails always make a girl feel more elegant and creative nail art completes the look. With nail art you can experiment with designs and colours. You may feel that its expensive but there are plenty of products on the market all at an affordable cost. It just takes time to perfect the art which is the highest cost you will have to pay.
Each kit provides the directions how to use the tools and you can find countless nail design tutorials on YouTube if youd rather be shown how to do it like the videos below. And the results are nothing less than fabulous giving you beautiful nails in record time without having to drive to a salon and wait your turn. The styles and amounts of designs that you can get with nail stamping kits and extra stamping plates are similar designs to what you can get at your local salon but without the wait and without the price tag.
Emery Boards: mery boards usually fat and long today are used to trim and shape before polishing or starting any polishing. And if you use artificial nails theyre handy for buffing and slightly roughing up the nail bed so the artificial nails will adhere more strongly. DIY Dotting Tools: Dotting tools help to create the small dots with nail polish. You can also use dotting tools for making heart shapes and swirl designs. You can fashion almost anything into a dotting tool including the tip of a pen or pencil the pointed end of an orange stick or the rounded end of a stick pin. You can even bend a paperclip and use one of the ends as a dotting tool.
HOW TO USE: Find a plastic sheet and drop a few blobs of nail polish onto it. I like to use name cards that are hard and feel a bit plasticky for this cos theyre small and disposable. Dip the round nib of your dotter into the polish. Try doing a few dots on the sheet/name card till you get the right size and consistency that you want. Do the same onto the surface of your nail. Be careful not to use too much pressure that may cause the dots to look deformed. Remember to clean them after use and dry thoroughly. These tools are made of metal and susceptible to rusting.
